PH Cup sorties slated in Montalban, 4 other provinces

THE Philippine Basketball Association gets to play its first outing at the newly-built Ynares Center in Montalban next month.

A May 2 doubleheader marks the first time the league will be playing in the venue that will have NLEX taking on Blackwater in the 5 p.m. curtain raiser and grand slam-seeking TNT facing Phoenix in the 7:30 p.m. featured match.

But an even bigger slam-bang is in store on May 18 at the same playing arena as Rain or Shine and Magnolia tangle in the main game at 7:30 p.m. just after the 5 p.m. tussle between San Miguel and Terrafirma.

The twin playdates at Ynares Montalban was released by the league on Tuesday when the rest of the Philippine Cup elimination round schedule was announced.

Three more out-of-town games will be played in May that takes the league in Pampanga, Candon, Ilocos Sur, and Cagayan De Oro.
